Alina Wahid
Alina Wahid (b. 1990) is a young artist who has completed her B.F.A. from the University of Allahabad in 2012, and her M.F.A. from Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi in 2014. Her artworks are inspired by aquatic life that also includes fantastical scenes of mermaids. Her compositions show the underwater landscapes as a magical place permeated with the play of light and form. Alina has been a part of exhibitions in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Amritsar, Jaipur, Allahabad, Lucknow and other Indian cities. The artist lives and works in Bangalore.
