Amaey Parekh (b. 1987) is a self-taught artist whose works range from abstract, landscapes and cityscapes to spiritual and religious themes. His abstract compositions resemble naturescapes - the moon glowing over the darker chaos against a fiery orange-red, rings and spheres against a brilliant blue background that make them look like the cosmos with radiant bodies that occupy it. His cityscapes and religious paintings are rich with layers and textures, and the colours are vivid and warm. Parekh lives and works in Mumbai.
