Kanthraj N
Kantharaj N. (b. 1978) has graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art. His artworks present surreal imageries of stilt-houses with expressive, bright colors. The houses, shown to be made with simple wood, sometimes with a boat anchored below, spiral up through multiple stories of rooms, stairs and planks, imposingly into the sky. Kantharaj has been part of several exhibitions in Bangalore at Venkatappa Art Gallery, Karnataka Lalit Kala Akademi and the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. The artist lives and works in Bangalore.
